Thomas Hardy Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine
Hardys Thomas Hardy Cabernet Sauvignon is the pinnacle of winemaking at Hardys. The wine is a tribute to Thomas Hardy, the winery's founder.
Each year Hardys select the best parcels from Australia's premier Cabernet Sauvignon growing regions including Coonawarra, Frankland River and Margaret River.
The handpicked fruit is handled separately to retain its unique vineyard character. The fruit is fermented in small open tanks and completes malolactic fermentation.
The resultant wine is matured in new and seasoned French oak for 18 months before being selectively blended and bottled.
Rich deep red, Hardys Thomas Hardy Cabernet Sauvignon has sweet dark fruit flavours woven with fine structural tannins, juicy acidity and wonderful length.
Refined, elegant and outstanding. Cellaring potential is 15 years.
